so sometimes i just read my last entry. am i really so shallow? who knew.
update on the prospective date. i didnt go out that night. but i have another prospective date tonight. same boy. who, by the way, is named marlon, not martin. samara refers to him as the fish (marlin). i think that will probably stick as his apt nickname. i also think that i might go out with him tonight. he did put up with my drunk ass thursday night. i called him in the middle of the night, woke his shit up, and talked to him for an hour and a half. we talked about race and michigan and clubs and all sorts of crazy shit. laura was so kind as to remind me that i told him all about my future dreams "your shit told him that you want four kids with the same daddy and you want to be married to that daddy forever" i really do know how to make shit sound romantic. im thinking that i will go out with him now as opposed to my earlier decision not to because of his personality. he makes me laugh and that counts for a hell of a lot in my book. he may be a 32 year old that works at wal-mart, but he makes me laugh. let me try to redeem my shallow ways.
tomorrow is field day, and there are only 5 days left of school. woo woo!!! this is mundo exciting. (not really remembering what mundo means but thinking thats not the correct use at all) i hope my kids are replaced with kids that listen and dont drive me crazy for the last 5 days :)
