so back to the goodness...
sydney: i swear this city is huge. you could never see it all. i love it though. its got the feel of a small town, where everyone is very friendly and smiles at one another, but its a big city. the people there are a bit more american-esk, compared to other parts of the country. i loved living at the university there. i wish they hadnt been on holiday, but the students that were there over the break were very fun.
cairns: we were done with the class portion by this point so it was all play and no work for us. we first visited daintree rainforest. it was very very cool. i wish i could spend more time in rainforests after this. i would love to just wander around exploring. its so beautiful. i saw so many new things there. we went on a night walk while there. it was amazing at night also! when we got back we had to the opportunity to sign up for activities for the week we were in cairns. i signed up for white-water rafting and skydiving. i also went snorkeling 2 days, but it was part of our program. skydiving and rafting were amazing. i wanted to really do new things, and i really did. ive always wanted to do both and i thought it was a great opportunity.
