busy and getting busier
another week another single entry :) last week was about the craziest week of my life… I worked for a million hours 2 saturdays ago (aka the last entry day)… and then I went home and went out to the bar with cristin… it was good fun and we played pool again… we are thinking about starting a team we are so good… we are especially good when we see how long we can hit the balls around without getting a single one in any of the pockets… sunday my mom was a bit psycho about cleaning the house… she wanted to make sure it was clean for my brothers wedding… which was only you know 6 fucking days away!! so after a bit of crazy bitchiness I went over to my brothers to help him paint… hes just bought a house and is getting married and he decides to redo the ENTIRE thing… crazy… it must run in the family… so we paint and hang out and funness…
monday its back to work for me… I spend the day working and then I get a call from my brother… he wants to let me know that my grandpa is back in the hospital… my grandpa is there so much he has frequent bedpan miles so I figure its just another day… but he says hes worse so I decide to go to the hospital… on the way to the hospital I get stuck for an hour… dead stop on the expressway… everyone is getting out and socializing and im just sitting there in disbelief… so one hour later, after everyone is best friends they reopen the expressway… I found out later that there was a semi in the ditch and they were getting it out… really people… a whole hour? a whole expressway closed? we should work on this.
so I get to the hospital and my grandpa is not at all good… hes not talking or looking at us or anything… it was kinda like a coma type thing… he ended up dying early tuesday morning so I was really glad I was there to say goodbye and see him one last time…
tuesday was a blur… I didn’t do much because I was quite sad… wed was the funeral home… I don’t really know what its called… the wake? I don’t know the funeral terms that are proper… it was sitting around and talking to people I didn’t really know basically… that night we went out with my brother and I bunch of his friends to the bar… we just sat around and drank and talked… it was good fun though…
thursday was the funeral… done in lithuanian of course… so I sat there and didn’t understand anything… we had a luncheon after that was pretty nice…
thursday night we went out for cristins bday… we went to ann arbor to good time charleys… it was really fun and they had some really good drinks! I think she had fun but was sad that not very many people came to celebrate with her.
friday was more cleaning… I guess my mom decided to invite everyone to our house btwn the wedding and the reception… not that I would even be there, not that I even live there… but I still got to clean all day…
saturday was wedding goodness… it started with getting my hair done… at 9am… crazy when the wedding isnt even until 2… I swear… its crazy… so I got makeup done and then got dressed and we started pictures… then was the wedding which was very nice… see pictures? sure here go http://community.webshots.com/scripts/controlPanel.fcgi I cant do that fancy linking so you will have to copy and paste…
after the wedding was more pictures… then we were off to the pictures outdoors… on the way we of course had to stop and get beer… lots and lots of beer… so then the entire drunk party goes to get pictures… however the place has another wedding and we cant do it and la la la… so its back into the limo… and we go to the reception… its been a couple hours by now and we are still drinking… so we get to the reception and take some pictures there at a pretty little bridge and gazeboy thing… then we have the reception… it was lots and lots of fun… sorry no pictures yet…
sunday=relaxing and recooperating… monday was work and tuesday is more work… last night we went out to crunchys here which was lots of fun and then I spent the night at ericas :)
so if you thought i was ignoring you at all lately ive just been very very busy... i leave to australia next week!!! i think i might start a new diary for that and paste the entries into both... just because i dont want to let everyone know about this one...
