the loooongest entry ever!
wow I have an entire week to write about! ok so on sunday we slept in a bit, then we met cristin and lisa at the outlet mall to go shopping… we spent a couple hours shopping before I took shell to beths… it was a very last minute plan… I didn’t think shell was staying with beth at all but then she told me she wanted to stay part of the time with beth and part of the time with courtney still… annnnd since I had to work monday I thought it was a perfect time… so I crossed my fingers and called beth… who seemed a bit cross for the last minute ness… I felt bad, but I also felt like I was the only one trying to plan shells entire trip… she told me that everyone wanted her to come stay with them, so I was trying to get her around to see everyone… so I take her to beths and leave her there… at which time I head back up to brighton where im dogsitting… luckily meaghan came to stay with me so I wouldn’t go crazy in a lonely house with 3 huge dogs that drool EVERYWHERE!… so meaghan came and loved the dogs which was a good thing because I couldn’t deal with trying to keep them away from another person… so monday morning meaghan and I drive to lansing to work… meaghans parents came to help move her home and took us to flats… YUMMY!… after I go to the lab and she goes to the Y… she eventually came to the lab too!
monday night it was back to the house to see the doggies… we watched shrek but I fell asleep (the night before I fell asleep watching a movie too :( )… tuesday we got up and came to lansing once again (starting to see a pattern)… I was working in the lab when I get a phone call… its beth and they are looking for a ride to see a tigers game… I would rather just be invited but I realize the car is pretty valuable… so I leave work 3 hours early and drive to ann arbor… by this time im a bit of a zombie from lack of sleep… so it starts raining and I start wondering if the game is still on for the night… so I call beth and shell to find out… they don’t really know but we decide its better not to go if its gross… soooo I say im up for anything… meaning im too tired to think and I just want to go wherever shell wants to go while she is visiting… beth suggests the DIA and I realize im not up for ANYthing… im just pretty open… but I have to get off the phone bc I have no minutes left… so I leave it up to them to decide… 45 mins later im in Ann Arbor… I get to beths and shell and beth are all makeuped and dressed nice… I feel like a skuz bag bc I havent showered, have no make up on, and am wearing nast ast clothes… so I ask them where we are going… no answer… they are waiting for me so we can decide… so we go to the computer to decide… and I have no clue at all… so beth tells shell and I we have to decide… at this point I want to just get in my car and drive home to sleep for 300 hours and not deal with the world… but I feel bad for shell… so I try to help her look for something? but she starts checking her email… eventually beth says we are going to the game… so we go to the game… which is half over! perfect! no one needs to see that much baseball anyhow…
after the game we try to find the casino but I end up back on the expressway… lost on the expressway to be exact… I do find an 8mile exit though… which makes shell and beth just about cream their pants… but I don’t really want to get off… late at night, dark out, lost, 8mile… hmmmm… but I figure out that its not that bad of an area and I get off so they can take pictures with the 8mile road sign… eventually we get turned around and decide to go play pool bc shell loves it (I think it’s a stupid game and cant stand it)… we drop beth off and meet up with cristin lauri and joe… we proceed to get hit on while we are trying to just hang out… (recall now that im looking super hot in my 12 yr olds ponytail and scrumpy sweatshirt)… it turns out he is the man of my dreams… 27, no real job, drunk, annnd hitting on all of us at the same time… you are invited to our wedding of course…
so we go to sleep eventually after a long night at the pool hall…
on wednesday I actually showered! we also called courtney bc shell really wanted to see her… turns out courtney is very busy working and going to school… I feel bad again for shell bc it seems like no one really wants to see her even though she emailed dates and everything to a bunch of people… so we decide to hang out with courtney the next night… meanwhile we have been sitting on my couch all day so that we didn’t miss her call bc shell is sure courtney was coming home tues from vacation and any day after that was fine for shell to come stay… so wed night we head up to brighton again bc the following morning im supposed to meet with my teacher again… we rented a movie and gorged on chocolate and popcorn… it was splendid… thurs I figure out I don’t have the papers im supp to have so I call the teacher “sick” so she doenst super duper hate me (there was suspicion that she hated me already)… so we sleep in and eventually make it up to lansing bc I have to work… shell emails some peoples while I work for a bit… then we head to linden to see courtney… we ended up going to the bar and just talking for hours… it was really great to catch up with her… shes engaged… which makes me so jealous… I don’t know why… I don’t really want to get married… but could I at least get a boyfriend up in here?… anyways… after that goodness we went home and crashed…
friday we went horseback riding with cristin and lisa… much fun… I miss riding so much :( we went out to dinner at tgifridays.. .very exciting bc it was actually on a friday… after lunch shell needed to do some packing and laundry so we went home… dinner consisted of pizza eventually… after dinner we went bowling for shells last night… it was all fun :)
I really enjoyed having shell here… it made me get off my ass and do stuff… buuuuuut im also glad its over bc I don’t need all the responsibility of trying to make plans for 2 people… its hard enough to get my own ass through a week…
today ive been working… and just relaxing a bit… shells flight was at 7 so ive been up since 5.30am… I think we are going out to the bar tonight too… tomm I think im helping my brother paint… will the fun never end???
